SEO - About 65,900,000 results (0.69 seconds)
I have been working hard, really hard on SEO for Story Hills Candle Co.’s web site. Feeling good about all of the key words strategically placed in every possible section including meta data for photographs. So, I decided to do a google search for “luxury candles” the results:
About 65,900,000 results (0.69 seconds)
I have been told that Google placement is a crucial aspect for any business striving to establish a solid online presence. I mean, given today's digital landscape, being prominently displayed in search engine results can make or break a company's visibility and success. So, achieving a high Google placement involves employing effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies, such as developing relevant and engaging content, optimizing website structure and design, and utilizing appropriate keywords, which I feel really confident I have done (to the best of a candle makers ability.) In theory, by prioritizing Google placement, businesses can ensure that their products, services, and information are easily accessible to potential customers, resulting in increased website traffic, brand recognition, and ultimately, conversions. At least that is what I have been told by several “experts” in the SEO field.
But how then, does a small Bozeman, Montana candle store stand out against the 65,900,000 other candle makers vying for that same placement? I suspect that paying for ads could increase search engine results, but does that then equate to candle sales?
I plan to continue to optimize my website structure and design, utilize appropriate keywords and will check back in frequently!
