Camping or Glamping?

Camping and glamping are two very different experiences in the great outdoors. Traditional camping involves setting up a tent, building a fire, and cooking meals over an open flame. It’s an opportunity to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature. On the other hand, glamping provides a more luxurious camping experience with amenities such as comfortable beds, electricity, and even plumbing in some cases. Glamping allows individuals to enjoy the beauty of nature without sacrificing modern comforts. While both camping and glamping offer the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the experience ultimately depends on personal preferences and comfort levels.

We started out camping in tent, moved on to a pop-up camper and finally have our Airstream Base Camp! But, my fondest camping memories are car camping trips in the back of our Nissan Exterra, blowing up an air mattress, climbing inside and snuggling in. Hubby even made magnetic screens for the windows so we could roll down the windows and enjoy the crisp, cool night air!

Pro-tip: Take along a few of our Fire Starters - so you can enjoy those S’mores!

  1. Escape the hustle and bustle - relax, refresh, renew.

  2. Breathe in that fresh mountain air.

  3. Get out there - hike, walk, enjoy!

  4. Soak up some Vitamin D.

  5. Make memories.

Whether it's the spectacular views, the invigorating exercise, or the therapeutic qualities of nature, the mountains hold a treasure trove of health benefits for those who embrace their beauty.
